Hydroactive Wound Dressings

A unique absorbent foam dressing with a net shaped hydrogel wound contact layer, HydroTac^® can be used for the treatment of slight to moderately exuding wounds as it offers sufficient absorption with top film water vapour permeability, to provide an optimal moist wound environment to support effective wound healing.

For dry wounds, the net shaped hydrogel wound contact layer provides moisture as required, rehydrating the wound bed. Both HydroTac^® and HydroTac^® Comfort are indicated for the treatment of wounds in the granulation and epithelialisation stage of healing.

Foam dressing with polyurethane top layer permeable to water vapour; the strong capillary effect of the special hydrophilic pore structure enables a rapid transport of wound exudate and ensures a balanced moist wound environment; germs and cell debris are safely bound, even under compression; soft and smooth with good padding properties; available in different sizes and shapes.

HydroClean delivers Ringer’s solution to the wound for up to three days. During this time, interactive and continuous wound irrigation takes place, due to the wound dressing pad also absorbing wound exudate. The SAP used in HydroClean inactivates matrix metalloproteinases (MMP) which impair wound healing. As a result, stagnating healing in chronic wounds can be reactivated.

Superabsorbent wound dressing pad, which creates in combination with Ringer's solution a moist wound environment for up to 24 hours - the plus-presentation for up to 3 days; removes necroses and coatings and in exchange, absorbs wound exudate and in this way accelerates wound cleansing; the hydrophobic covering prevents adhesion; it can be removed without wound irritation; the wound dressing pads are available in different presentations: ready-to-use and pre-activated and the plus-presentation with additional antibacterial substance.

A sterile, self adhesive hydrocolloid wound dressing that features a bevelled edge for secure adhesion to surrounding skin. Hydrocoll^® forms a soft gel when in contact with wound fluid, producing a moist wound environment suitable for autolytic debridement and protection of granulating tissue.

A transparent solid gel sheet covered with a semi-permeable outer layer. The high water content of approx. 60% makes it particularly suitable for keeping granulation tissue and young epithelium moist.

A clear, viscous, sterile gel which is used for the treatment of dry chronic wounds. It contains Ringers solution, glycerol, hydroxy-ethyl cellulose, carboxy-methyl cellulose.

Hydrosorb^® gel provides a moist wound environment helping to promote wound healing. It softens dry necrotic tissue, while facilitating the removal of devitalised tissue and absorbing wound debris and exudate.
