Hydroactive Wound Dressings

Superabsorbent wound dressing pad, which creates in combination with Ringer's solution a moist wound environment for up to 24 hours - the plus-presentation for up to 3 days; removes necroses and coatings and in exchange, absorbs wound exudate and in this way accelerates wound cleansing; the hydrophobic covering prevents adhesion; it can be removed without wound irritation; the wound dressing pads are available in different presentations: ready-to-use and pre-activated and the plus-presentation with additional antibacterial substance.

Foam dressing with polyurethane top layer permeable to water vapour; the strong capillary effect of the special hydrophilic pore structure enables a rapid transport of wound exudate and ensures a balanced moist wound environment; germs and cell debris are safely bound, even under compression; soft and smooth with good padding properties; available in different sizes and shapes.

A foam dressing which is coated with a net-like hydrogel layer on the side facing towards the wound and a gas permeable, waterproof and bacteria-resistant outer layer made of polyurethane; the absorbent foam material quickly absorbs wound exudate without drying out the wound; in relatively dry wounds the hydrogel releases moisture and promotes the formation and maintainance of a moist wound environment, whereby the granulation and epithelisation are promoted; the wound dressing is soft and conformable, provides a good cushioning effect and can be removed almost painlessly; also available with an adhesive border.

Hydrocoll is a self-adherent absorbent hydrocolloid dressing with semipermeable cover layer which is impermeable to organisms and water.The hydrocolloids transform into a gel when in contact with wound exudate and form a moist environment which has a stimulating effect on granulation and epithelialization.
Available in five different sizes for a need-based use.

Sorbalgon is made of calcium alginate fibers which form a hydrophilic non-adherent gel in contact with the sodium salts contained in blood and wound exudate. The gel-forming properties promote the wound healing process.

Hydrocellular gel dressing with semi-permeable top layer which is impermeable to germs; transparent; provides a balanced moist wound environment due to the high water content of about 60 %; promotes granulation and epithelization; excellent biocompatibility; good padding effect; it can be removed without wound irritation; also available with adhesive film border.
